About China Printmaking Museum
The China Printmaking Museum is located on Yuxin Road, Guanlan Street, Longhua District, Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province, adjacent to Guanlan Printmaking Village. It covers an area of 17,600 square meters and has a total construction area of 18,600 square meters. The museum started construction in December 2012 and officially opened in October 2014. It is the first professional printmaking art museum in China. In 2020, it was awarded the first batch of "Guangdong Provincial First-Class Art Museums". The building was designed by Xidi International East-West Studio and uses a steel truss structure system to retain the site’s original watchtowers, half-moon pond and other Hakka elements. The editorial department of the academic journal "Chinese Printmaking" will officially settle in the museum in July 2022.
