About Bund History Museum
The Shanghai Bund Historical Memorial Hall is a thematic venue with the theme of the century-old history of the Bund. It is located in Huangpu Park (No. 475, Zhongshan East 1st Road). It was completed in September 1995 and is jointly sponsored by the Huangpu District Government and the Shanghai Municipal Archives Bureau. In January 2003, the memorial hall was named Shanghai Patriotism Education Base. The exhibition hall is composed of four major sections: "Prologue Hall - Impressions of the Bund", "Theme Exhibition Area - Road to Time", "Special Exhibition Area - Time Capsule" and "Tail Hall - Fashionable Bund, Centennial Glory". Through historical images, scene restoration and multimedia interactive installations, the development trajectory of the Bund's financial trade and changes in architectural style are systematically presented.
