About Residential houses in the south
Nanbian Residential House is located in Zhangjiakou Village, Huanghua Town, Yiling District, Yichang City, Hubei Province. It was built in the sixth year of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty (1801). The residential buildings in the south are scattered in dots on the hillside and relatively concentrated. These buildings are large or small, left or right, front or back, forming a unique architectural form in the mountainous area of western Hubei. The houses in the south are all single-family houses, with green and hard walls on the outside and civil structures on the inside. On both sides of the main room are the main room, which is the owner's bedroom and guest room. The main room and the main room are two or three feet apart, with a piece of blue sky exposed in the middle, and a corresponding pool on the ground, called the "patio". The patios in the old houses vary in size.
