About Yanzi Institute
Yanzi Academy is a cultural exhibition building located in the central ecological forest of Fengxian New Town, Shanghai. It has a total land area of 21,139 square meters and a total construction area of 7,839 square meters (including 5,705 square meters above ground and 2,134 square meters underground). It will be officially opened on September 28, 2023. The building was designed by Academician He Jingtang. It takes "Yanzi's path of learning" as the spatial order concept and integrates the functions of museum exhibition, teaching academy and academic exchange, forming an important part of the "one body and two wings" of Fengxian Museum. The building connects the ceremonial square, the vestibule of the sage, the Siqi water courtyard and the sage hall through the north-south main axis.
