About Songjiang Science&Technology Museum
Songjiang Science and Technology Museum is a municipal science education base located at No. 237 Zhongshan East Road, Songjiang District, Shanghai. It was officially opened in October 1988. Jiang Zemin, then Secretary of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee, and Zhou Gucheng, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, respectively inscribed the name of the museum. With science and technology exhibition and training as its core functions, the museum has four themed exhibition areas: Basic Pavilion, Creation Pavilion, Urban Science and Technology Exhibition Area, Temporary Exhibition Area, Olympic VIP Seat Experience Area, and Multimedia Playback Hall.
