About Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center
The Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center is located at No. 1099 Guozhan Road, Pudong New Area, Shanghai. It is a high-standard, modern, international exhibition venue with advanced facilities, reasonable layout, energy saving and environmental protection, convenient transportation, and complete functions. The exhibition hall was formerly the theme pavilion of the 2010 Shanghai World Expo. It has a total construction area of about 129,000 square meters and consists of five exhibition halls. It is adjacent to the Huangpu River and close to landmark buildings such as the China Art Palace and the World Expo Center. The pavilion was completed on September 30, 2009 and continues to operate as a permanent venue for the Shanghai World Expo.
