About West Bund Art Center
The West Bund Art Center is an art center located at No. 2555 Longteng Avenue, Xuhui District, Shanghai. It was renovated from the former Shanghai Aircraft Manufacturing Factory stamping workshop. The renovation design was led by Dashe Architects Liu Yichun. The building retains the original industrial space temperament to the greatest extent, and incorporates a new diamond-shaped mesh steel structure and facade. It has two floors of main exhibition space and supporting functional areas inside. The center was designed and built in 2014 and put into operation in April 2015. It is an important part of the West Bund Art Museum Boulevard. The West Bund Art Center is the main venue of the West Bund Art and Design Fair. The first fair was held here in 2014.
