About the Museum of GuangxiZhuang Autonomous Region、（壮语：GVANGJSIH BOUXCUENGH SWCIGIH BOZYUZGYANJ）
The Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Museum was established in 1934. It is a provincial-level comprehensive museum of history and art and one of the first batch of national first-level museums in the country. The museum is located on the east side of Nanning Nationalities Square, covering an area of about 60 acres. It is a first-class public welfare institution with full financial allocation from the department level of the Autonomous Region Culture and Tourism Department. The Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Museum has more than 50,000 cultural relics in its collection, including 148 pieces (sets), 1,974 pieces (sets) of second-level cultural relics, and 3,865 pieces (sets) of third-level cultural relics (data as of July 2025). As of 2025, the building area of the museum will be approximately 42,000 square meters, and the exhibition area will be approximately 10,000 square meters.
