About Jinan City Art Museum
Jinan Art Museum is located in the core area of the Western New Town, Huaiyin District, Jinan City, Shandong Province. It is an important part of the Cultural and Art Center of the Shandong Provincial Capital and is only 1.3 kilometers away from Jinan West Station of the Beijing-Shanghai High-speed Railway. The museum was designed by the French company AS with a total investment of 160 million yuan. It was completed and opened in 2013 and was also branded as the Jinan Painting Academy, which was established in 1980. It reopened on March 25, 2020 in accordance with the requirements of epidemic prevention and control, becoming the first public cultural venue to resume work in Jinan City. The museum has a construction area of 15,000 square meters, with 1 underground floor and 4 above ground floors.
