About Qianfo Mountain 31
Qianfo Mountain, also known as "Miji Mountain", "Mishan", "Li Mountain", "Shun Mountain" and "Shungeng Mountain", is located on Jing 11th Road, Lixia District, Jinan City, Shandong Province, with geographical coordinates of 117°00'~117°03' east longitude and 36°36'~36°38' north latitude. It is one of the three major scenic spots in Jinan and a national scenic spot. Qianfo Mountain Scenic Area covers an area of 164.88 hectares. Qianfo Mountain belongs to the remnants of Mount Tai. The highest point is 285 meters above sea level. It is mainly divided into three slopes: north, southwest and southeast. It is located in the Jinan monoclinic structural belt. Its geological structure is dolomitic limestone and dolomite. The area where the scenic spot is located has a warm temperate semi-humid and semi-arid continental monsoon climate.
