About The Princess House
The Princess Building is located at No. 10 Juyongguan Road, Shinan District, Qingdao City, Shandong Province. It was built in 1941. It is a Nordic coastal style imitation Gothic courtyard building and was designed by the Russian architect Yu Lipu. The building is a brick and wood structure with three floors above ground and one underground floor. It has a construction area of 721.98 square meters. It has a granite base with an irregular rectangular plane. The exterior walls are inlaid with white and green mosaics. The main facade is equipped with a Gothic spire tower. The interior retains wooden stairs, closets and other structures. It is said that the Danish prince proposed to build a villa for the princess in 1932 when he visited Youth. The actual owner was a German overseas Chinese named Sade, and it was originally called Villa Sade.
