About Inner Mongolia Science and Technology Museum

Inner Mongolia Science and Technology Museum (referred to as Inner Mongolia Science and Technology Museum) is a public welfare fully funded institution affiliated to the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Science and Technology Association, located in Hohhot City. The old museum was built in December 1983 and was one of the first science and technology museums in the country. The new museum was completed and opened in September 2016, with a total construction area of 48,300 square meters, an exhibition area of 28,800 square meters, and a construction investment of 608.3 million yuan. It has nine themed exhibition halls and special effects theaters such as giant screens, 4D, and dome screens, which are open to the public free of charge. The opening hours are adjusted to 9:00-17:00 from Tuesday to Sunday, with admission closed at 16:30.
