About Sun Yefang's former residence
Sun Yefang's former residence is located at No. 121 Lishe Old Street, Lishe Village, Yuqi Street, Huishan District, Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province. It was originally a Dunhou Hall built in the late Qing Dynasty and is a five-entry style Jiangnan water town residential building complex. The building faces north and faces south, with a total length of 52 meters. It has a back-story structure, covering an area of 910 square meters and a construction area of 2260 square meters. It has five main buildings and auxiliary rooms distributed along the central axis. Each entrance is three rooms wide and separated by a patio. The last two entrances are double-story back-story structures. A plaque inscribed by Yang Shangkun hangs at the front door, and there is a rockery and pool landscape in the front yard.
