About Henan Science & Tech. Museum (New)
Henan Science and Technology Museum (new museum) is located on the bank of Xianghu Lake in Baisha Park, Zhengdong New District, Zhengzhou City, with a total construction area of 130,400 square meters. Construction started on New Year's Day 2019, and the main project was completed in June 2021, with a total investment of 2.037 billion yuan. The architectural form of the museum is inspired by the intersection of Heluo culture. It has 8 permanent exhibition halls, 4 special effects theaters, science plazas and other science popularization functional areas. As a "three-hall fusion" composite science and technology museum with the functions of a science center, a natural history museum, and a planetarium, it adopts the "construction while testing" model to promote construction, and applies the sponge city concept and clean energy technology to achieve green ecological design.
