About Zhengzhou aquariums 1
Zhengzhou Aquarium is located at No. 86 Guoji Road, Jinshui District, Zhengzhou City, Henan Province. It is a national AAA tourist attraction invested and constructed by Hangzhou Changqiao Tourism Investment Group Co., Ltd. with a total construction area of 32,000 square meters, a play area of more than 40,000 square meters, an 8-storey height, and a water volume of more than 25,000 tons. The venue was built in November 2002. The first phase of the marine aquarium opened in October 2003. The second phase of expansion was completed in January 2023, adding new facilities such as the Polar Animal Museum and the Cetacean Theater. Gentoo penguins in the museum have successfully bred. The venue is divided into three themed areas: Polar Animal World, Ocean Aquarium World and Mediterranean Town, displaying polar animals such as beluga whales, dolphins, penguins, and Arctic wolves.
