About Hai Duong City Museum

Haiyang Museum is located at No. 11 Wenshan Street, Haiyang City, Yantai City, Shandong Province, China. It is a national second-level museum. It was established on September 1, 1984. It covers an area of approximately 10,000 square meters, with a construction area of 7,520 square meters and an exhibition hall area of 5,532 square meters. The Hai Duong City Museum has undergone changes from its establishment in 1984 when it opened its exhibitions to the public, to the construction of a new museum in 1993, and then to its move to the new museum in 1999. As of the end of 2022, the museum has a collection of 9,705 pieces/set, 111 precious cultural relics/set, and a total annual audience of 105,000, including national treasures such as jade bracelets, tooth biscuits, and collar rings.
