About Shaoxing Lanting Calligraphy Museum

Shaoxing Lanting Calligraphy Museum is located in Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province. It was completed and opened to the public on April 20, 2015. With a total construction area of 12,191 square meters, it is currently the largest calligraphy-themed museum in China and the first thematic museum with the theme of "Lanting Collection Preface" to comprehensively and systematically reflect Lanting calligraphy and Lanting culture. The basic display of "A Thousand Years a Day" in the museum takes the historical nodes of the calligraphy fate of "The Preface to the Collection of Orchid Pavilion" as the basic clue, and is divided into four sections: Fengya Orchid Pavilion, Legendary Orchid Pavilion, Charming Orchid Pavilion, and Eternal Orchid Pavilion. The museum collects all precious works from the 1st to the 39th China Lanting Calligraphy Festival.
