Shuangliu Chasing Butterflies Butterfly Museum is a butterfly-themed museum located in Baihe Park, Shuangliu District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. It has a construction area of more than 1,200 square meters and is open to the public free of charge but requires an appointment. Relying on the nearly 20 years of research results of the Asia-Pacific Butterfly Studio chaired by Deng Heli, a former researcher at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the museum has a collection of thousands of butterfly species and more than 10,000 specimens. It has five themed exhibition areas such as "Hengduan Dream Butterfly" and functional areas focusing on scientific research and popularization, and is committed to creating a natural education base. The museum will open in August 2024.
