About Shuijingfang Museum
Shuijingfang Museum is located at No. 19-21 Shuijing Street, Jinjiang District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. It is a private museum with the theme of traditional industrial sites and wine culture. Opened to the public on July 18, 2013. Shuijingfang Museum was designed by Liu Jiakun. The museum covers an area of 18.5 acres, with a construction area of 12,148 square meters and an exhibition hall area of 10,295 square meters. It is divided into four exhibition halls: Wine History Hall, Heritage Hall, Skills Hall, and Brand Hall. Shuijingfang Museum adopts a "light intervention" strategy in its design, covering the archaeological site with a steel-framed glass curtain wall to form a transparent protective layer that can adjust the microclimate. A black slope-roofed exhibition hall is suspended above, echoing the traditional winery architecture in an abstract form.
