About Suzhou Science and Technology Museum

Suzhou Science and Technology Museum is located in the core area of Shishan Cultural Plaza in Suzhou High-tech Zone, with a total construction area of approximately 63,000 square meters and an exhibition area of approximately 40,000 square meters. It is composed of permanent exhibition halls and other supporting spaces for exhibition and education. Designed by the international architectural firm Perkins&Will, the overall shape presents the image of "Jade Ruyi" and "Silver White Ribbon", integrating Suzhou silk cultural genes and modern technological aesthetics. The internal planning of the venue covers 7 permanent exhibition halls, 3 temporary exhibition halls, 7 study spaces, 3 theaters and a variety of supporting service spaces. It follows the design principles of "touchable, visible, sensible, knowable and interactive" and adopts column-free design and natural lighting technology.
