About Suzhou Museum West Building
The West Building of Suzhou Museum is a branch of Suzhou Museum. It is located at Shishan Plaza, No. 399 Changjiang Road, Suzhou High-tech Zone. It was designed by the German GMP Architects. The building complex consists of 10 cubes with a side length of 25 meters. The exterior facade is made of Portuguese limestone, echoing the pattern of streets and lanes in Jiangnan Water Town. It was completed and opened on September 29, 2021, with a construction area of 48,365 square meters and an exhibition area of 13,391 square meters.
