About Xinjin County Chunyangguan Museum
Xinjin County Chunyangguan Museum is a state-owned museum established in 2003. It is located at No. 313 Chunyang Road, Xinjin District, Chengdu. It is built based on Chunyangguan, a provincial cultural relic protection unit. The main buildings of Chunyang Temple, Dazhong Pavilion and Zhixiao Pavilion, are 33 meters high. The building shape is triple eaves, octagonal and pointed helmet top. The museum takes the buildings of the Republic of China as the main display and the Confucian culture of loyalty and filial piety as the core of the display. Chunyang Temple was first built in the Xianfeng period of the Qing Dynasty, expanded in the 29th year of Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty (1903), and continued to be built during the Republic of China. In April 1991, it was announced as the third batch of cultural relics protection units in Sichuan Province.
