About LongPing Rice Museum
Longping Rice Museum is located on Renmin East Road, Furong District, Changsha City, Hunan Province. It covers an area of about 30 acres, with a total construction area of 18,000 square meters and a main construction area of 11,000 square meters. It is a local thematic museum. On September 13, 2015, the conceptual plan for the architectural design of Longping Rice Museum was prepared. On September 27, 2019, Longping Rice Museum opened in Changsha. As of 2022, there are 8,850 pieces/set of cultural relics in the collection, 225 pieces/set of precious cultural relics, and a total of 536,144 annual visitors. On April 4, 2025, the "Rice Dream Inherited, Spirit Eternal" memorial event and academician Yuan Longping's item donation ceremony were held at the Longping Rice Museum.
