About Silversea World
Silversea World is located at No. 30 Donghai Middle Road, Shinan District, Qingdao City, Shandong Province. It is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction integrating yacht clubs, docks, catering, accommodation and popular science tourism. Its core component, Silversea International Yacht Club, is the first yacht berthing port in northern China, with 366 boat berths. It was used as a training base for the sailing competition of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. There is a horizontal zero point of the People's Republic of China in the scenic area. It was completed and opened in 2006. It is the only horizontal zero point in China open to the public. In 2014, it was included in the national primary and secondary school geography textbooks.
