About Penglai aquarium
Penglai Ocean Polar World is located at the foot of Danya Mountain in Penglai District, Yantai City, Shandong Province, adjacent to Penglai Pavilion. It was built with an investment of 460 million yuan from Penglai Haifeng Industrial Co., Ltd., covering an area of 51,800 square meters. It is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction. The scenic spot integrates marine life display, popular science education, and interactive experience. It has 14 themed exhibition areas such as the Tropical Rainforest Pavilion, Polar Pavilion, and Shark Pavilion, and brings together nearly a thousand species of marine life such as polar bears, beluga whales, and penguins.
