About Qingdao Forest Wildlife World
Qingdao Forest Wildlife Park is located in the Xiaozhushan National Forest Park Scenic Area of Huangdao Economic Development Zone, Qingdao City, Shandong Province. It is a large-scale comprehensive theme park integrating wildlife display and protection, science popularization, catering, leisure and entertainment. It was officially opened in October 2003. On April 22, 2020, Qingdao Forest Wildlife World announced that it would permanently stop animal performances and instead introduce animal habits through themed science popularization activities. Qingdao Forest Wildlife World covers an area of 122 hectares and has nearly 20 exhibition areas such as the Asian Herbivorous Area, Watching Wilderness Exhibition Area, Wild Beast Area, Australian Area, Lemur Island, and Natural Rainforest Pavilion.
