About Zhengzhou Zoo
Zhengzhou Zoo is located at No. 103 Huayuan Road, Jinshui District, Zhengzhou City, covering an area of 430 acres. It opened on October 1, 1985, and receives more than 3 million tourists every year. It shoulders the functions of ex-situ wildlife protection, animal breeding, popular science research, and leisure and entertainment. After more than 30 years of construction and development, the Zhengzhou Zoo has grown from an initial 200 animals of more than 20 species to more than 3,300 animals of more than 260 species in 2020.
