About Sightseeing promenade
The sightseeing corridor is located in the Yuelu Mountain National Key Scenic Area at No. 58 Denggao Road, Yuelu District, Changsha City, Hunan Province. The promenade was built in 1997, with a total length of 140 meters. It integrates leisure, entertainment, climbing and climbing, and is open all day long throughout the year. Tourists often regard the observation deck below it as the highest peak of Yuelu Mountain. Because of its wide view, one can overlook Changsha's cityscape, Xiangjiang River, Juzi Island and the distant city, forming a landscape of "mountain, water, continent and city". On June 13, 2019, relevant departments approved the renovation project of the tourist corridor. Starting from April 29, 2026, the scenic spot will optimize the sightseeing corridor area into a slow walking area to achieve separation of people and vehicles.
