About pumice underground palace

The Pumice Stone Underground Palace is a land art landscape located on the south side of the Geological Science Museum of Nanjing Garden Expo Park in Jiangsu Province. It belongs to the Yunchi Menggu area of the Garden Expo Park. It will be unveiled on September 19, 2021 with the reopening of the Jiangsu Garden Expo Park. The landscape consists of an underground music hall and an above-ground pumice stone. It is a circular space installation art that sinks underground. There is a giant metal sculpture about three stories high inside, with a waterfall pouring down from the top, forming a unique natural sound field. Since its opening, the Pumice Underground Palace has gradually developed into a venue for hosting large-scale events. For example, from 2025 to 2026, the area has hosted many New Year's Eve fireworks shows, drone performances and other festivals.
