About Suzhou Contemporary Art Museum
Suzhou Contemporary Art Museum is invested and constructed by the Suzhou Industrial Park Management Committee and managed and operated by Suzhou New Era Culture and Sports Exhibition Group Co., Ltd. It will open on August 30, 2026. The project is located in the Hudong CBD area, close to the Jinji Lake Ferris Wheel. It covers an area of 48,800 square meters and has a total construction area of about 59,500 square meters. It was designed by the Danish BIG architectural firm. It adopts a garden-style layout of nine independent buildings in series, integrating modern architectural concepts and Suzhou garden elements, and features ribbon-shaped roofs and promenades to create a "garden version 2.0" art space without walls. The venue plans 4 professional exhibition halls, performance spaces, multi-functional halls and other supporting facilities.
