About Dream Jellyfish Palace

Dream Jellyfish Palace is a professional jellyfish exhibition hall located in Qingdao Aquarium. The museum was officially opened to the public on May 8, 2007 during the 75th anniversary celebration of the Qingdao Aquarium. It is the first professional jellyfish exhibition hall in mainland China. The Dream Jellyfish Palace displays more than ten kinds of jellyfish, including moon jellyfish and ribbon jellyfish, and thousands of jellyfish. It also has a jellyfish display area and a virtual experience area, using advanced sound and light technology to provide visitors with an interactive experience. Qingdao Aquarium was founded in 1931 and opened in 1932. After many renovations, the Dream Jellyfish Palace is a modern exhibition hall after its display content shifted from fish to coelenterates (jellyfish).
