About Guanlan Pavilion
Guanlan Pavilion is an ancient pavilion located in Baotu Spring Park, Lixia District, Jinan City, Shandong Province, on the west bank of Baotu Spring Pool. It was first built in the 17th year of Chenghua in the Ming Dynasty (1461). It was originally named "Quanquan Pavilion", and later it was rebuilt into a four-sided open pavilion and renamed "Guanlan". The pavilion is a square open pavilion with cornices and brackets. It is the core location for viewing the landscape of Baotu Spring. The word "Guanlan" comes from "Mencius: Enduring Your Heart". In the Song Dynasty, there were pavilions beside Baotu Spring. The scholar Su Che once wrote the poem "Quanquan Pavilion". Su Shi also traveled and painted on the wall of this pavilion. The existing Guanlan Pavilion has been repaired many times.
