About TAG Art Museum

TAG Art Museum is a non-profit art institution located on the south bank of Tangdao Bay in Qingdao's West Coast New District. It was registered and established in 2019 and will officially open on August 12, 2021. The museum was designed by French architect Jean Nouvel. The main building is 17,000 square meters, including 12 seaside exhibition halls and 80,000 square meters of outdoor gardens. It integrates giant glass curtain walls and light and shadow art, and is equipped with professional-level exhibition facilities. It can host super-large art works and multi-cultural activities. The art museum is located in the Xihai Art Bay. An ecological garden was created by landscape designer Gilles Clément, retaining the original coastline and natural landscape, forming a unique cultural landmark where mountains and sea blend.
