About flower stone

Flower Stone is a cluster of natural boulders located at the northern foot of Daiwang Mountain in Zhifu District, Yantai City, Shandong Province. It is named after its shape, which resembles a blooming flower when viewed from top to bottom. The landscape is located on the top of a round hill on Daiwang Mountain facing away from the sea. It is a natural viewing platform overlooking the panoramic view of Yantai city, harbor and Zhifu Island. According to the "Zhifu District Place Names Chronicle", this area had a clear geographical indication in 1889. There are many legends related to the flower stone among the people. Historically, in the 33rd year of Kangxi reign (1694), someone installed the Kuixing statue here, and during the Guangxu period, a tower was built to protect it.
