About Reed Flute Cave
Ludidi Scenic Area is located on the banks of the Taohua River in the northwest of Guilin City, 5 kilometers from the city center. It is a core component of the Lijiang Scenic and Historic Area and was designated as one of the first batch of National Key Scenic Areas by the State Council in November 1982. In 2000, it was awarded the title of one of the first national AAAA-level scenic areas. Ludidi Cave is 240 meters deep, with a walking path totaling 500 meters. Inside the cave, there are countless beautifully shaped, delicate, and translucent stalactites, stalagmites, columns, curtains, and flowers, which create a dazzling array of landscapes—such as Lion Ridge’s Morning Glow, Red Robe Tent, Dragon-Enshrined Pagoda, Primeval Forest, Crystal Palace, and Flower Fruit Mountain—leaving visitors utterly amazed and feeling as if they’ve entered a fairyland.
