About Duxiu Peak · Wangcheng Scenic Area
Guilin Duxiu Peak–Jingjiang Prince City Scenic Area, commonly referred to as the Guilin Duxiu Peak–Prince City Scenic Area, is a tourist attraction located within the jurisdiction of Xiufeng District in Guilin City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, covering an area of 283 mu. The Jingjiang Prince’s Residence is a historical site dating back to the Jingjiang Principality, which was established in China’s southernmost region under the Ming Dynasty’s feudal system. Situated at No. 1 Wangcheng Road, Xiufeng District, Guilin City, beneath Duxiu Peak, the residence spans 21.4 hectares and is the earliest completed and best-preserved princely residence from the Ming Dynasty. It is also the place where the timeless saying “Guilin’s landscapes are the best in the world” was first discovered.
