About Chengyang Eight Villages

The Chengyang Bazi Scenic Area in Liuzhou City is located in Linxi Town, Sanjiang Dong Autonomous County, and is China’s largest concentration of Dong wooden architectural complexes. Covering an area of 7.6 square kilometers, it boasts more than 2,000 stilted houses, nine drum towers, and five rain-and-wind bridges. Over 10,000 Dong people reside within the Chengyang Bazi Scenic Area, where the ethnic minority’s cultural traditions are richly preserved.
