Yanziji is a Shiji located on the Zhidu Mountain on the riverside in Qixia District, Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province. It covers an area of nearly 20 square kilometers. As the first of the three famous rocks in the Yangtze River, Yanziji has the title of "the first rock in the Yangtze River". Yanziji was an important ferry in ancient times. From the early 1950s to 1958, Yanziji Park was renovated and opened to the public after completion. On September 10, 2020, Yanziji Park officially reopened. Yanziji Scenic Area is the core scenic area of Muyan Riverside Scenic Area. One side of Yanziji is the rolling Yangtze River, and the other side is the green Riverside Park. The West Branch of Beishili Changgou is a tributary that enters the river from near Yanziji Riverside Park. Yanziji is only 36 meters above sea level.
