About yongxingfang
Yongxing Fang (English name: Yongxingfang) is located on the eastern side of the Xi’an City Wall in Xincheng District, Xi’an City, Shaanxi Province, within the Zhongshan Gate (Xiaodong Gate). It was one of the 108 wards during the Tang Dynasty and serves as the former residence of Prime Minister Wei Zheng. The site covers a total area of 15 mu, with an east–west length of 130 meters and a north–south width of 88 meters. In December 2014, Yongxing Fang officially opened to the public. The Yongxing Fang complex is divided into eight districts: Guanzhong Lane, Shannan Street, Shanbei Li, Handicraft Workshops, Intangible Cultural Heritage & Folk Custom Street, 107th Street, Intangible Cultural Heritage & Creative Culture Street, and Fu Street, bringing together the cultural “essence” of 11 cities across Shaanxi Province and 107 counties and districts.
