About Jiuzhen Ancient Town
Jiezi Ancient Town is located at the foot of the mountains northwest of Chongzhou City in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. It borders Dujiangyan to the northeast, faces the back mountain of Qingcheng to the north, and adjoins Jiulong Gou to the northwest. It is 57 kilometers from Chengdu and 45 kilometers from Shuangliu International Airport, with convenient access to downtown Chengdu and Shuangliu International Airport within an hour. Covering an area of 41.18 square kilometers, Jiezi Ancient Town is seamlessly integrated with Qingcheng Mountain, and Fengqi Mountain is one of the Thirty-Six Peaks of Qingcheng Mountain. Known as “Water Town in Western Sichuan” and referred to as the “Back Garden of Qingcheng,” Jiezi Town has a history spanning more than 1,000 years. During the Five Dynasties period, it was known as “Hengqu Town,” “Sijie Town,” or “Yongkang County.
