About Dagu River Museum

The Dagu River Museum is located on the right bank of the lower reaches of the Dagu River, the largest river in the Jiaodong Peninsula, north of Zhengyang Road in Qingdao City and at the northeastern end of Shaohai North Lake. It covers an area of 100 acres and has a total construction area of 21,000 square meters. It is a national second-level comprehensive museum that integrates natural ecology, water conservancy management, historical civilization, and folk customs. It is also the second largest museum in Qingdao City. The shape of the building is inspired by the Chinese calligraphy "Three Points of Water", with a green sightseeing ramp on the top, resembling water droplets blending into the bank of the Dagu River.
