About Crown Cave
Guilin Caopingguan Rock is a karst cave located half a kilometer downstream of Caoping Hui Township, Guilin City, Guangxi, China. It is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction. It is named because the mountain looks like a crown, and it is also called Ganyan because of the sweet spring water in the cave. As early as 1637, Xu Xiake had explored the cave and recorded it in "Xu Xiake's Travels". Guanyan was named after him. Yankou is the outlet of the underground river, with clear springs flowing out all year round. Guanyan Rock is divided into three layers and five caves, with the layers stacked on top of each other and the holes connected. The upper two floors are dry caves, with stalactites of various shapes hanging in the cave, with deep and long curves; the bottom floor is an underground river with clear water.
