About Luojiang Chen Clan Ancestral Hall
Luojiang Chen Clan Ancestral Hall is located in Dianqian Village, Luozhou Town, Cangshan District, Fuzhou City. It was first built as a family temple during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty. It was rebuilt into an ancestral hall in the 16th year of Kangxi's reign in the Qing Dynasty. In the 24th year of Jiaqing (1819), Chen Ruolin, the Minister of Punishment, donated money and rebuilt it. The main building is a two-entry wooden structure courtyard facing east and west, covering an area of more than 500 square meters. On the central axis, there are structures such as Zhaobi, archway-style gatehouses, patios, and halls. There are existing official script horizontal plaques of "Paida Gengqiang" and "Fushou" plaques bestowed by Emperor Daoguang.
