About Da Village
Dazhai Town is affiliated to Xiyang County, Jinzhong City, Shanxi Province. It is located in the south-central part of Xiyang County. It borders Zhaobi Township to the east and southeast, Sandu Township and Liyang Town of Heshun County to the south, Zhanshang Town to the west, and Leping Town and Jiedu Township to the north and northeast. The area covers an area of 182.99 square kilometers. As of August 2024, the registered population is 30,797. The town government is located in Dazhai Village, which has jurisdiction over 1 community, 48 administrative villages, and 28 natural villages. The geographical coordinates are 37°27′-37°37′ north latitude and 113°24′-113°47′ east longitude. It is a typical northern dry stone hilly mountainous area, with National Highway 207, Liugao Highway and Xiyu Expressway running through it.
