Cross Street is located in the old town of Luoyang City, Henan Province. It is the intersection of West Street, East Street, South Street and Xinghua Street. This neighborhood was formed during the canal filling and street construction project of the Jin Dynasty. After the bell and drum towers were moved in the early Ming Dynasty, it was nicknamed "Drum Tower Street". It has been a gathering place for merchants since ancient times and developed into the city's commercial center during the Republic of China. Nowadays, Cross Street is an important commercial and cultural tourism landmark in Luoyang. It is famous for its night market and special snacks. It brings together many delicacies such as Luoyang water banquets and non-turning soup. At night, red lanterns are hung high and the fireworks are strong. The average daily passenger flow during holidays exceeds 30,000 people.
