About Xiangui Bridge
Xiangui Bridge is located one mile north of Jiuxian Village, Baisha Town, Yangshuo County. It was built in the fifth year of Xuanhe in the Song Dynasty (AD 1123) and is still intact for more than 900 years. Xiangui Bridge is the oldest existing single-hole stone arch bridge in Guangxi. The bridge is 25.8 meters long, 4.16 meters wide, and 2.2 meters high. Xiangui Bridge was rebuilt in the seventh year of Shaoxing (1137) in the Southern Song Dynasty. There are stone inscriptions on the inside of the bridge arches, recording the beginning and end of the bridge's construction. Xiangui Bridge, Yulong Bridge and Fuli Bridge are collectively known as "One River and Three Ancient Bridges".
