About Dade Kee Bathhouse
Dadeji Bathing Beach is a beach bathing beach located next to Haoyue Garden on Gulangyu Island. It can be reached by walking down the steps from the Guanhai Road sign. There is a beach and gray-green sea water here. On the left is the Haoyueyuan woods, across the sea from the high-rise buildings of Xiamen Island and the Zhongzhaiwan Bridge. On the right is Lion Rock and rocks. Because of the shade of the trees, the beach is mostly shady in the afternoon, making it a local bathing beach. The baths are open all day and no tickets are required. Its name comes from the "Daxia" mansion of the British businessman Deji and Foreign Trade Co., Ltd. located here historically, so it is called "Dadeji". Bathhouses have faced problems such as declining water quality and an increase in garbage.
