About Jieshou Red Army Hall
Jieshou Red Army Hall, formerly known as Sanguantang, was built in 1912. It is located at the north end of Laojie, Jieshou Town, Xing'an County, Guilin City. It has a construction area of about 133.9 square meters. The main building is a brick and wood structure with two front and rear halls and a patio. During the Xiangjiang Campaign in 1934, the building was set up as a temporary headquarters by the First and Third Red Army Corps due to its proximity to the ferry and the open terrain. Zhu De, Peng Dehuai and others once commanded operations here. As an important historical witness of the Battle of Xiangjiang River, the Jieshou Red Army Hall was included in the "Bloody Battle of Xiangjiang River and Breakthrough of Encirclement" red tourism boutique route in 2021.
