About Guilin Baiyun Temple
Guilin Baiyunguan is located in Tiancitian, Yaoshan, Panjia Village, Dahe Township, Diecai District, Guilin City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It was established on March 25, 2008. The temple of Emperor Yao was built in the Qin Dynasty where it is located, and the name Yao Mountain comes from this. The "Tianci Tian" where the Taoist temple is located is said to be an incense field given to the local area by Emperor Yao. The existing Tianci Spring never dries up all year round. There is an inscription of the Dragon King in the spring. The spring water is filtered by a century-old Ligustrum lucidum tree. The Taoist temple complex is built along the mountains of Yaoshan Mountain and mainly includes religious buildings such as Sanqing Hall and Lingguan Hall, as well as supporting water reservoirs and fire-fighting facilities.
