About Wang Hanzhou's former residence

Wang Hanzhou's former residence is located at No. 83 Hebei Street, Shangxinhe, Jianye District, Nanjing City (now No. 83 Hebei Street, Xinglong Street). Its architecture is famous for its exquisite materials, stable structure, and exquisite carvings. It is a typical representative of residential architecture in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China in Nanjing. The former residence was included in the list of district-level cultural relics protection units in Jianye District in 2019. In 2020, it underwent systematic renovation and restoration to regain its historical appearance. During the renovation process, the procuratorial organ promoted the resolution of potential safety hazards such as environmental clutter and structural damage through procuratorial recommendations.
